Writing Portfolio
My most current work is a portfolio I made for my creative writing class at Ashford University. It consists of three sections, a creative non-fiction work, a short fiction piece, and three poems. Here is a brief description of each piece:
True Self: A short story based on an experience I had falling in love for the first time when I was about twelve.
Protest With Extra Cheese: A comedy short about a man who works at an investment firm that is under protest outside of the building.
My First Car: A poem.
Horrible Prohabition: A creative poem about the prohibition era.
Dreaming of a Sestina: A sestina is a mathematically designed style of poem. This particular poem is about a scientist who falls asleep.
