Scott Brown’s Bio

An inspiring author, Scott has two title published under his name.  The Last Rejection, his self-published novel and Little White Lie, a short story published by the Amazon Shorts Program.  He is also working on a few other projects including two more novels and another short story.

Scott grew up in Southern California and has lived there ever since.  He’s studied music, acting, and writing in school.  He started playing the piano when he was eight and continued till his eighteenth birthday.  After discovering his love for music didn’t include performing, he turned to acting as his possible career path.  He studied under the Stanislavsky’s method of acting.  For about five years, Scott studied theater, television, and film before deciding that he wasn’t ready for the trials of becoming a professional actor.

Still unsure what his calling was, Scott threw himself into his day job at a local retail store.  He eventually was promoted twice to become a manager.  He always enjoyed coming up with creative ideas and loved telling stories ever since he was a child.  So, perhaps it was only natural that he looked at storytelling as a possible career.

In 2005 he decided to write his first completed novel and eventually went on to self-publish it in 2006.  It was his first attempt at completing a traditional story.  The Last Rejection, was his first science fiction thriller.  Then a year later, Amazon.com published Scott’s first short story, a romantic comedy, Little White Lie. Ever since, Scott has been focusing on various writing projects and hopes to one day be published by a major publishing company.
