I want to wish all of you a happy Thanksgiving! For those of you who know me, as I am sure most of you do, this is my favorite holiday! Halloween once was my favorite, followed by Christmas. However,  but several years ago, Thanksgiving took the top spot.

This year, I wanted to write a poem for my favorite holiday. If I recall correctly, I have done this previously, so this might become a tradition! Therefore, without further adieu, I present to you my thanksgiving poem:

Together For Thanksgiving

I say farewell to Hallows Eve,

As I feel the breeze

The cold air I do receive,

A great feast that I perceive,

The time for Turkey is nigh!

A day to celebrate as a coalition,

Avoiding at all costs an abolition,

While some who seek demolition,

We avoid it with all volition,

The time for Turkey is nigh!

Today many Americans shall rejoice,

Because their families have made the choice,

To come together and with one voice,

The time for Turkey is nigh!
